Our team of speech-language pathologists (SLPs) are certified in the state of Texas by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). We provide personable, knowledgeable, evidence-based care tailored specifically to meet each individual’s communication needs. Our experienced SLPs use an array of activities and strategies designed to improve our clients' communication abilities as well as their overall quality of life.
At Texas Quality Home Health, we offer comprehensive assessments that include conducting an interview with the patient or family member(s), administering standardized tests if needed, and completing a physical examination. After assessment completion, our SLP's will develop individualized treatment plans that reflect the patient’s goals and objectives. Depending on the age of the patient, this may involve direct therapy with children or adolescents in various settings including playgroups or one-on-one sessions. For adults, it may involve conversations about work, home life or any other topics based on their particular needs.
Our SLPs also have access to professional resources such as additional therapies like sign language training and specialized auditory processing programs which helps them provide personalized care suited for each individual's needs.
